Truck Driver/ Operator

Gasser Ag Services is a community-based business that provides Trucking and Spraying Services. Based out of Chesterville, Ontario, we service farmers and elevators across Eastern Ontario, Quebec and Northern New York.
Gasser Ag Services is currently recruiting for a full time TRUCK DRIVER/ OPERATOR with the opportunity to start employment as soon as possible.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, ambitious, possess strong communications skills, and be capable of working well both individually and as a team. They should have experience running tractor trailer combinations such as end dump, B-train hoppers and flatbed. A basic understanding of agricultural practices and mechanical skills are required. Hours of work will vary as per shipping volumes/schedules and sleeper berthing will be required from time to time.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate truck tractor pulling B Train hoppers, end dump or flatbed trailer.
- Responsible for loading, delivering and offloading loads safely in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate loading, delivery and driving records.
- Inspecting equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Possibility of other duties may arise depending on interests and qualifications.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENCES:
- AZ license with clean drivers abstract (minimum 3 years experience)
- US driving experience an asset

Professional Applicator (Sprayer Operator)

Gasser Ag Services is currently recruiting for a PROFESSIONAL APPLICATOR (SPRAYER OPERATOR) with the opportunity for full time employment with AZ license.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, ambitious, possess strong communications skills, and be capable of working well both individually and as a team.
A basic understanding of agricultural practices and mechanical skills are required.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Full time position available with AZ license with extended seasonal hours
- Operate application equipment to apply crop protection products.
- Responsible for the safe handling of chemicals within the guidelines of the label instructions, using basic computer and math skills.
- Maintain accurate mixing and application records.
- Maintain equipment to ensure safe and accurate application.
- Other duties may include maintenance on equipment and trucking
CERTIFICATES AND LICENCES:
- All certificates are assets but can be acquired upon employment.
- Ontario Pesticide Training and Certification- Exterminator License
- AZ License (minimum 3 years experience)
